The Sage — for Men
Everything for this gateway, gathered in one place: the teaching, the recordings, the practices, and the rituals.
A note on the recordings and sharings: these were first given to the women's circle. Where you hear the womb, or the cervix, bring it to the corresponding point on the masculine map, the hara, the lower belly, and the prostate, the deep inner gate of surrender.
The Sage's Medicine
You came through the first gates as the Page, then as the Lover and the Father. Here the Father matures into the Sage, the guide. The one who provided and protected now learns to step back, to bless, to point the way and let go. The father becomes the guide, the elder, the still centre others can lean on.
The healing balm of this gateway: the one who knows when to say NO.
We now walk together through the third gateway, the threshold of releasing, dissolving, and laying to rest. This is the gateway of the Sage, the wise elder, the silent teacher, the one who has surrendered the kingdom and died before he dies. Its inner sacred site in the body is the prostate, the deep chamber where the seed turns and rises, or is spent. The gate of surrender.
In this sacred passage, we are invited into the daily practice of letting go, in the great rituals and in the smallest, most embodied ways.
Let this week be a prayer of purification.
Let your shower become your sacred stream. As you wash your body, your chest, your belly, your back, your thighs, feel the water and your touch clearing what no longer serves. Affirm I release, I dissolve, I clear. Let the water carry away the invisible weight, the grief, the residue of stories long held in the flesh.
I release the silences I've swallowed.
I release the need to win.
I release the fear of laying down my sword.
Let each glass of water be a blessing, I clear. Let every tear and sweat be a sacred act of surrender, I release. Let your breath become the Sage's wind: clearing space, calling truth, making way.
This is the Sage's wisdom: that to release is a form of strength, and to surrender a form of power. This is the silent teacher's path: to listen, to cleanse, to clear the way.
Walk gently. Bless the mundane. Let the sacred flow through your everyday.
With you in the silence and the in-between.
Brahmacharya
At this gate the seed turns. The prostate is the deep chamber where the generative force either rises or is spent. Brahmacharya (Sanskrit brahma, the Absolute, + carya, to move) means moving in Brahman, living in the ground of being. The word has been narrowed to mean celibacy. It is wider than that: the fire neither scattered carelessly nor shamed and buried, but kept sacred and turned toward the centre.
For a man this is the raising. The Daoists named it huanjing bunao, the returning of the essence: the jing conserved and drawn upward, refined into qi, and qi into shen. Essence becoming energy, energy becoming spirit. Retention and rising. What is not spent becomes ojas, the inner radiance, and the body begins to shine.
It walks between two errors. To spend the fire without thought, until nothing remains to rise. And to shame the fire and bury it, where it festers. Repression never transforms; only awareness transforms. The seed is conserved, and given back to the heart.

Be Attentive
This is your task.
Be attentive. Find where you hide from the old and ugly parts of yourself. Find where you victimise yourself. Sit in the discomfort without betraying your inner peace.
Meet the inner addict, the one who takes over when the discomfort is too much. Watch the distractions, the excuses, the compulsions. Be honest. Listen.
Do not fall asleep waiting to be saved. Wake up.
Fear is present? Welcome it. Anger is present? Welcome it. Stop running from yourself.
Release control. Grieve. Catch the escape artist. Close the back door in the mind, the one that says, when it gets difficult, follow the escape plan.
Feel the one who wants to fight, to cause chaos, because he does not feel seen. Feel him. Be the Sage, the Wise One who knows when to say No, who has died enough times to no longer fear it, who lays down his sword.
Here, it is not light. It is darkness. Remember your consecration, your sankalpa, your Yes to Love. Remember who you are.
This is a critical point of release. Stay focused. Come back to your commitment to life. It is for you.
The Regression
A 40-minute practice.
- Read this page.
- Listen to the recording.
- Practice the regression writing and worksheet.
Follow the guidelines of the ritual from the document you received at the beginning of this portal.
🎧 Listen — The Regression (recording) · about 30 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of writing. The music was curated by Shyam Lala to support the journey.
The purpose of the regression is to look, personally, at your own patterns, habits, and emotions. As you bring awareness to them, you can track how they have shaped you across your life. As we go deeper, you gain something beyond thinking about how these wounds affected you. Once we see the web of these imprints, we can begin to notice how the patterns, the programming, the projections are creating the reality of our lives, and there we have the chance to transform consciously.
To transform consciously is to give these contracts of false belief, felt as contractions, to the light of self-awareness. To become the witness of what holds us in form is to dissolve and be reborn. In this gateway we enter the subconscious, where creation submerges into the earth, dense, cold, and hard. Here we may re-lease the subconscious contraction, rather than carry the contract into the next cycle.
Afterwards, practice rapid writing or drawing. There is also a worksheet, below, that may help you remember. During the regression you will only remember what is useful to you.
Rapid Writing
At the end of the regression, rapid write for about ten minutes, or longer if you desire. If you go blank, keep writing, anything. If writing is difficult, you can draw instead. It would be very beautiful to share your insights with the group, as well as your drawings if you have any.
The Worksheet
You can do this worksheet before the regression, to feel into the gifts and wounds of this gateway.

Sh-Ka-Ra Meditation
The mantra of this gateway.
🎧 Listen — Sh-Ka-Ra Meditation · about 4 minutes.
Let the sound move through the hara, the lower belly. Toning, sighing, allowing.
The Playlists
Each gateway carries its own current. These playlists were curated in resonance with the energetic architecture of this gateway. Sound is not neutral: tone, rhythm, frequency, and atmosphere impress themselves upon the subconscious and take part in shaping perception, emotion, memory, and coherence.
As much as you can during the immersion, let these be your sound. You might set aside other music for now, especially music carrying strong nostalgic, romantic, or identity-based imprints, which tends to call the field back toward familiar patterns and timelines.
Let the music become atmospheric, elemental, almost ritual in its repetition. Listen with the body, the hara, the skin, the breath. Over time you may notice shifts in dreaming, sensitivity, emotional processing, inner imagery, and clarity. This is part of the purification: dissolving inherited noise so the field can grow coherent with what we are cultivating together.

The Practices — Building a Daily Practice
You now hold these practices for this gateway. Here is how you might build a daily rhythm. On average, a minimum of fifteen minutes a day. Transfigure this time as being the witness that you are. I AM.
Consecration — centre in the heart.
The Hara Breath — sit, spine long, jaw soft. One hand on the heart, one on the lower belly. Inhale slowly, drawing the breath all the way down into the hara. Exhale slowly, letting it rise through the heart. Let the axis between the two centres light up. (10–30 min, at least once a week, ideally 4–7 days, no pressure.)
Sounding for the Gateway — use your voice to sound SH-KA-RA. Let the sound emerge from the hara, no forcing. Tone your mantra, or sigh and vocalise the frequency of this gateway. (minimum 7 min a day.)
Playlists — meditation.
The extra practice for this gateway: Mula Bandha. The root lock. A gentle drawing-up and sealing of the pelvic floor, the perineum, the Daoist Hui Yin, so the seed rises inward rather than spilling out. It steadies the ground of the body and gathers the current at the root. It will be initiated on the full moon, in a live practice together. You may explore it softly before then, and we will deepen it on the full moon.
Reading — the ebook and extra material. (45 min or more per cycle.)
A Call Together · 17 July
A suggestion, and a task: gather as a circle on the 17th of July. Make it happen. The circle holds what no man holds alone.
Meet together on a call. Keep it simple and held. In this gathering:
- Consecration — centre in the heart. Remember your Yes.
- The Hara Breath — let the axis drop from the head, through the heart, into the hara. Breathe it together.
- The Questions — work through the inquiry from the ebook, the questions of this gateway. Let the sharing become a prayer, no longer *I* being seen, but the Goddess learning her own voice through you.
Choose a time that suits the circle, and hold it.
A Prayer for the Awakening Man
A prayer to be spoken at the seat, before the work, or before sleep:
Great Spirit, I bow to you.
May the boy in me be returned to wonder.
May the lover in me learn to stay.
May the father in me hold without grasping.
May the king in me lay down his sword.
May the heart and the hara remember each other.
May my strength become a vessel for tenderness.
May my tenderness become a vessel for strength.
May I serve what is greater than me, and find that what is greater than me has always been within me.
With you in the stillness, brother.
