For the Couple

A Pilgrimage Together

Walking the Cross In Sacred Union

Walking the Cross as a couple.

What We Are Walking

You are both walking polar paths, the same and the opposite at once. She becomes the mirror in which he witnesses all that has been hidden, until all that remains is the truth: I am. The oneness. Sacred Union.

Your marriage is the ground from which the pilgrimage is walked. It is the field where the two paths meet, the sacred union of the masculine and the feminine, a living embodiment of the cosmos. Most of what changes between you will happen in the ordinary moments at home, not in the sessions themselves. That is how we open to live it.

How We Will Hold This

The Rhythm

We will walk one gate per new moon, three moons in total. For him: the Page, the Father, the Sage. For her: the Maiden, the Mother, the Crone.

Your Individual Sessions

You will each have your own one-to-one sessions with me. These are private to you. What is shared in your session stays in your session.

The Two Thresholds Where We Sit Together

We will come together for two joint sessions:

  1. At the start. Before the first gate opens. We sit together so each of you can hear, once and clearly, what the other is walking and what each of you is asking of the work.
  2. At the close. After the third gate. We sit together so each of you can hear, once and clearly, what was met and what surfaced. We seal the first arc.

If something arises mid-way that asks to be held together, we can add a session. We do not pre-schedule it, so the field of your sacred union can call it in if and when it feels natural.

For Him

The men's doc is your map. Read it slowly, in the days before your first session. Sit with the inquiries. Bring one observation, written, to each session.

Your daily practice is the Hara Breath. Ten minutes a day. Forty days minimum. Without it, the work stays in the head.

You do not need to "do it well". You need to show up and let yourself be seen — by yourself, by your love, by the Beloved within. The strength being asked of you here is the strength of stillness, not the strength of doing.

For Her

You already know how this work meets you. What is new this round is that he is at his own threshold, finally, and you are no longer walking it for him in his absence.

What you have been holding for him may surface as you meet each gate again: grief, anger, longing, the parts of you that contracted around his absence. This is the third turn. The held becomes the seen. We will hold it as it comes.

Your daily practice continues as we have shaped it together. When something rises about him, about yourself, about the work, take it through the consecration shape (invocation → offering → surrender → trust → seal) before it leaves your mouth.

Together · The Marriage as Field

The marriage is the soil the gates grow in. Most of the alchemy will happen between sessions, in the kitchen, the bed, the silence of an ordinary morning.

A simple weekly practice for both of you:

Twenty minutes, once a week, at home. Sit facing each other. One hand on your own heart, one hand on the other's. No words. Three slow rounds of breath together.

This is not an exercise. It is a remembrance. A transfiguration: to truly see the Divine in the other.

The Agreement

For the chalice to hold, a few things need to be clear between us.

What to Bring to the First Joint Session

A Closing Word

You are not walking alone. You are not walking each other's path. You are walking the same Cross from different starting points, inside one chalice, witnessed by the One who has been here from the beginning.

Begin where you are. Bring what you have. Trust the work to do what only the work can do.

Beloved Divine Mother, hold us as we walk.

Jai Ma.
